HP Absorb combined with 5 star Knights of the Round, + ribbin,+ your best armor with magic defense equals invincible cloud. After playing the game I learned that you can go into settings and modify the setting for the summons. I think you can speed them up or skip them. I had wish I had known that earlier.

Kotr materia is a real pain to get thanks to the gold chocobo, but it's definitely worth it (auto spam it against ruby weapon)

They remake the game and the summons are weak as shit! This was summoning! The new one is hack and slash, but this is what made the game for me! These were Epic! They always mess up great opportunities in remakes

I just came here after using the first summon on ff7 remake, ifrit. It’s so bad and underwhelming! The original summons were much more epic and cinematic at the time.
